Andy Fish and Anne Fish started Formula Austin LLC last year to plug visitors into Austin’s culture and business scene in the days before and after the U.S. Formula One Grand Prix, now in Austin.  Formula Austin aims to link visitors up with authentic Austin experiences and has partnered with 42 local businesses, professionals and musicians to offer a large variety of activities.

Andy is a native Austinite. His earliest recollection of racing was an LP of the Sounds of Sebring from 1956. His father raced the #2 Shelby Mustang to a national championship in B Production in the late 1960s. His first Formula 1 was shortly after graduating from the University of Texas (BS Electrical Engineering) when he and his father went to Monaco, Monza, the Maserati factory, the DeTomaso factory, and the Ferrari factory, and spent an afternoon with Ferrari collector and clothing designer, Emilio Pucci. Particularly memorable was the 1984 Grand Prix in Dallas, Texas, being a guest of the Williams Team in and behind the pits at Silverstone in 2011, and a guest of Ferrari North America for the 2011 American LeMans Series race at Road Atlanta. Andy raced autocrosses and hill climbs for a number of years in a 1959 Corvette and a 1973 DeTomaso Pantera. He has been a member of the Model T Ford Club of America, Longhorn Corvette Club and Ferrari Club of America. He currently owns several collector cars including a prototype, 246 Dino Ferrari.
